Your journey stays with you
Your name, weight logs, goals, notes, reminders and local achievements are stored in the app on this device. Your weight history is used here to create charts, insights and estimates. We do not upload these logs to our servers. Android automatic cloud backup and device transfer are disabled; use Backup & import to keep your own copy.
Google Play subscriptions
If you buy or restore Pro, Google Play handles checkout and payment details. The app sends your purchase token and subscription product ID to our verification service. We use them to check access with Google, acknowledge purchases and handle subscription updates. We do not receive your card details or send your weight logs with a purchase. The service stores encrypted purchase tokens, subscription status, expiry and verification times. Network providers process the IP address needed to deliver requests. Our verification service also holds IP addresses in memory for short rate-limit windows to prevent abuse, without logging them.
Your achievements
Earned achievements are saved on this device and included in your JSON backups. Google Play Games connection and badge sharing are not enabled in this release. Your badges, weight values, goals, notes and check-in dates are not sent to Play Games.
Reminders and backup files
Notification permission is optional and is used for local check-in reminders. Backup files contain personal weight history and may include notes, settings and achievements. They are not encrypted by this app. You choose where to save them or which file to import. Keep exports somewhere private; deleting app data does not delete exported files.
Retention and your choices
Local data remains until you delete entries, choose Delete local data, clear app storage or uninstall. Delete local data removes your logs, goals, name, notes, local badges and settings and stops reminders. It does not cancel a Google Play subscription or remove Google’s records. Verification records are deleted after 90 days without a verification or subscription update; new requests can verify access again. Infrastructure backups may take up to 30 further days to expire. Contact us for privacy questions or a deletion request; do not email purchase tokens or payment details.
Security and third parties
The app uses Android’s private app storage, which is protected by your device security rather than a separate app password. Verification requests use HTTPS, and stored server purchase tokens are encrypted. We do not sell personal data or show advertising. Google Play and hosting providers process the data needed for their services under their own policies. The Play Games SDK is inactive in this release. No system can promise absolute security.

Weight Tracker is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Forecasts and Pro previews
Forecasts are estimates based on your selected pace and logged trend. They cannot guarantee future weight or a goal date. Early estimates have less information and change as you log. Purple previews for free users show how the feature looks; your personal forecast values and dates require Pro. Explore a Pro example uses fictional logs in memory and does not read, change or save your records. Decorative fluctuations are visual examples, not predicted daily measurements.
Who this app is for
Weight Tracker is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children. Choose goals with a healthcare professional when appropriate.
